1. Returns and Refunds

1.1 Original artworks are non-returnable and non-refundable.

1.2 In the event of a damaged parcel, please refer to section 4.4 below. 

 

2. Copyright

2.1 Unless stated otherwise, Sophie Slade Art reserves all rights to all imagery on this website.

2.2 When you order from Sophie Slade Art you are granted a license to display the purchased artwork with in your home or business. 

2.3 Without prior written permission from Sophie Slade, you do not have the right to copy, print or manipulate any imagery from this website or any purchased artwork.

2.4 You do not own the copyright of any artwork or print purchased from us.

2.5 Items may not be reprinted or shared electronically without written confirmation from us.

2.6 It is illegal to reproduce copies any artwork for which we reserve the copyright. 

2.7 We have the right to seek legal assistance to enforce laws against any instances where copyright is breached.

 

3. Orders

3.1 We reserve the right to cancel any order before delivery if the payment of the full order value fails.

3.2 If for any reason we are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact you via email at the earliest opportunity and provide a full refund.

 

4. Delivery

4.1 Standard delivery is between 1-2 weeks of purchase.

4.2 If there is an event outside of our control and we are unable to meet the estimated delivery date, we will contact you with a revised estimated date of delivery. 

4.3 Once your order has been delivered the item is your responsibility.

4.4 You are responsible for checking external condition of the parcel when it is delivered.

Any damaged parcels with significant damage must be rejected by you and returned to the courier at the point of attempted delivery. You must inform us of the rejected parcel immediately so that we can make contact with the courier in order to resolve the issue.

4.5 In the event that we are not contacted by you within in 24 hours of the attempted delivery, this confirms that you have received your purchase in good condition.

4.6 Delivery charges will be stated at checkout before payment is taken.

4.7 For deliveries out outside of the UK, charges will be informed via email before we accept your order. We reserve the right to refuse delivery to some destinations.

4.8 A despatch notification will be sent via email with a tracking link to the courier website where possible.

 

5. Website Changes

5.1 The most current and up to date terms and conditions can be found on this page. We reserve the right to update the information at any time. 

5.2 The published terms and conditions at the time of your purchase apply to your order.

5.3 It is your responsibility to check any updated terms of service when you make a purchase. 

5.4 We reserve the right to update the prices of products on this website at any time.

 

6. Colour Quality

6.1 All devices such as a phones, tablets and laptops will produce slightly varying colours, therefore, any artworks you purchase may differ slightly to the image you see on your screen. 

6.2 We aim to have uploaded images which are an extremely close representation of the original artworks, however, we cannot guarantee a true match between your screen and the artwork. 

6.3 Printed products may vary in colour slightly from what you see on screen. We do our best to match the printed colours to the original artwork, producing a high quality product.

7. Limited Edition Prints 

7.1 The limited edition prints are limited to a maximum edition across all sizes. 

7.2 The number of editions of a particular printed artwork can be found on the product page on this website as well as on the receipt of purchase and certificate of authenticity. 

7.3 No printed copies will be produced for sale once the full set of limited edition prints have sold out.

7.4 The prints will be inspected and hand-signed by Sophie Slade and marked with the edition number.

7.5 The selected print size is the size of the paper. The image is printed inside a 1 inch blank border. 

7.6 By purchasing the print, you confirm that you have selected your desired print size.

7.7 All limited edition prints are accompanied by a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Privacy Policy

• In order to deliver your item, accept payment and make contact with you when necessary, we collect information from you when you make a purchase. 

• We will not disclose your information to any third party outside of our business, other than when it is necessary to achieve completion of your purchase, e.g. courier.

• You have the right to contact us at any time to request the data that we have collected from you. We will delete any data collected from you upon request.

• Any payment information, e.g. credit card details, that we receive are encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.

• Any information provided to us is protected both online and offline. Only when we have to carry out jobs such as shipping, service or billing will we use your information.
